I have always had an entrepreneurial spirit. Being raised with parents that owned several successful businesses throughout their life, I guess it was inevitable. I have always been a stay-at-home mom and after my children reached school age I wanted to find a way have a career but still be available if my children needed me.
One of my favorite hobbies has been to create homemade greeting cards and gifts, I realized how little time the average person has to shop, let alone sit down and write a letter or create a hand-made gift. I wanted to help these busy over-worked people by providing a new and unique gift item that would be fully customizable but purchased with the ease of internet shopping. So, one night after playing a game of Scrabble with the family I was in my bed thinking of work I could do from home. After a couple hours, and a few hundred ideas, I finally came up with the Chocolate Dispatch.
